Logging out

great forum but my only beef is that it logs me out all the time and i have to log in every time i come back, isnt there a button to stay logged in/?

Having to login everytime you return to the site is usual.

If you want to make life easier, you may want to look at LastPass.com and the autologin functionality.

Not just me then!

AFAIK I dont get this on any other set of forums I frequent, certainly not to the level that scripting logs us out.

Why dont YOU/whoever offer to "make life easier" for US, the members of the site and if it can be done, amend or repair the scripts (assuming they are not inherently borked) so the members can all have a more pleasant stay?

No biggie if it can't be done. Then C'est La Vie I guess.

Just a thought?

IIRC - For security reasons the session cookie is set to expire when you close the browser.

RS246 v5 is in development, so that may deliver a different solution.

Why would you want to stay logged in once you've closed the session? By logging in using the left hand box, you have the "remember me" option so automatically rejoin as a logged in user - isn't this enough?
