No way - Facebook has been the cause of more losses of personal information than any other website. I'm not going near it...

I've never used facebook. Do groups have owners, if so who is the owner of the RS246 group?

At the end of the day Facebook is a social networking site. If you are mug enough to put personal information on there that can be abused, you really deserve everything you get. The security on Facebook is pretty good and the privicy options allow you to limit access to exactly what you want. I never share my profile with 'group' members or anybody that isn't a friend I know well (you can even set up limited profiles for friends you don't know that well).

The group seems to have been set up by a Leon Batchelor (ZeroK66 on here).

Haven't seen Leon around for a while, and seem his last post was back in mid June.

I'm also an RS246 club member on Facebook. Regarding security, you just have to be careful how much info. you put on there that scammers can use. Mines linked to a hotmail account address to make life a little more difficult.

Facebook Bebo all just a waste of time IMO
