30min editing time?

Post by Nige_RS4 » Thu Mar 06, 2008 4:49 pm

Is it possible to change this to say 4 hours, as 30mins is too short to be of much use?

But this could make threads unreadable. If there are a few replies to a posting and then one of those posts is edited/deleted then the subsequent ones might not make any sense at all.

Or you could compose the post in Word (or similar) and then copy and paste.

I think its back to the law of averages.... i.e. minor changes v changes which would distort the context of the post.

The 30 mins is only so you can correct obvious mistakes.

There has to be a cut off to prevent posters changing things based on reactions. You just need to post again.
