For a couple of days I could not connect to www.rs246.com. I kept getting directed to some web site for a company selling web addresses. Did anybody else have this problem or have I got a dud computer.

DNS issues in the "interwebthingy".... can get round it by omitting 'www' from the URL (i.e. just type http://rs246.com)

Can I have that in English please.

The "interwebthingy" is a collection of AS's (Autonomous Systems), or "networks", that are interconnected - hence: "the internet".
