Done so. It's a closed group though, so you need to approve each member.

It's yet another social networking site. Lets you do notes, somewher to store photos, random "social" stuff, including events, etc.

What's the point of moving RS246 stuff off of RS246 onto another site???

My sentiments exactly, however maybe I have missed the point of Facebook.

Its not like a forum or anything, although you can... you can create an events calendar and you can exchange pics - look at eachothers ugly mugs. Its more a social thing than a car thing.
I am not hooked to facebook, although I do use it regular enough - be nice to put face to names and see others cars - details on what they have done etc etc. I will get all my car specs up and vid clips, pics etc. Just for a laugh... like I said I was rather bored!
Guess facebook is more a kiddy (30 and younger) thing, I am still a wee one, so half into these social networking things.

FACEBOOK! Another place for mindless idiots to abuse others while sitting behind a computer screen hiding from reality, only to find that the person the make threats and abuse would just kick them into reality if ever they said the same to their face.
Yes you know who you are!

As indeed is 90% of the internet. from my own perspective i've just made contact with a group of guys through there that i haven't had much contact with in 20 years so it's worked for me just fine.
i have a fear of heights so i stay off high objects but i wouldn't call someone who did want to climb a mindless idiot, each to their own really. if you don't like networking sites then don't go on them.

My 9y/o son has been the recent object of the "mindless idiot" hiding behind the computer screen, and high objects or not, I too stand by my opnion.
I am also very pleased for you, that, after 20 years you have "found" your missing friends, most of us don't loose such items very easily!
To give some statistics,
Relate claim that Friends Reunited is the fastest growing cause for divorce.
Childline claim that Face book and bebo are the single most complained about reasons for bullying for 10-16 y/o today.
Its a problem that will only get worse.

I am originally from the UK, but spend my first 20 years of life pretty much in Zimbabwe. Having come to the UK I have got in touch with many old school friends, friends of family etc - some even just 30 mins away which I would have never know thanks to social networking sites.
I am sure there is a negative too... I do not think that kids should be allowed to sit on these things - they should get out more as we did when younger. Scary points you put across VARSITY!! How do you strike the right balance with kids!! - NOT a conversation starter, merely a comment, lets not get OT.
