when i went to a rolling road day with my M5 at thorney's there was a contributions box..
basically it was there for people to put an amount in an envelope with there user name on so to contribute to the running/upkeep of the site..
now there has been many a topic about giving money to this forum but nothing ever happens..
now we all as member understand that it takes time and money to keep it running and to update it so why not give it a try..

if you want to contribute then do so or not if its not for you..
maybe if its a success you could put a star or a contributor tag next to the members avatar just to let everyone know how much members are commited to keeping this forum at the top of its game..

im sure hats,T shirts stickers etc all cost money and if there not selling it,ll be a good way to recoup the initial outlay..
just a suggestion..woody..

I'm not suggesting it's a big earner, but isn't this site commercially run?

We make ends meet, and are proud that it is free to it's members. The money we make from advertising is sufficient to cover what we need.

It's very nice that people are willing to contribute, but it is easier to have a level playing field.

Enjoy
