Uploading Pictures

Hi, For some reason i can't upload pics onto this site using the add attachment feature. I can view the pics i want to upload through the browse tab but it wont 'add' them, are they too big if so how do i reduce them?
Any ideas or am i just being a Numpty!!

Yeah it's sunday again and i have my numpty hat on!!
I was trying to upload pics bigger than 256KB evidently,still no worries. For anyone thats interested i have put up a few pics of the chrome dial rings on the B5 S4 forum.
