Trying to post photos

just seeing if i've worked out how to do this.

Seems i did'nt work it out.
Could anyone help me with this, I presume it's because the photo was in a msn gallery. I've read the FAQs and previous posts on this subject but being a computer novice i'm having some trouble. I see you can link photos from the gallery but i can't seem to be able to create an album.

What exactly are you trying to do? Attach a picture to a post, include a picture in a post, or create a gallery?

Sorry for the confusion, I'm trying to include a picture in a post.

For off-site or gallery images use the BBCode, example below:

[img]http://www.sitename.com/pathname/imagename.jpg[/img]

Otherwise you should be able to attach a file/image to a post. You can't do this in the 'Quick Reply' at the bottom of a thread, you must use the 'post reply' button.

If you want have a try in this thread, and we can see how you get on.

Hmmm. Two problems...

1. You will only be able to link to images with extensions such as .jpg, .gif, etc
2. I don't get anything when I click that link. Can you post the link again and I will try to help.

Thanks for your time PhilT, my test didn't seem to work, is this because the photos in msn or more likely down to my ability with computers?

Phil, I tried to add an attachment to a post, it keeps telling me that the server is not available.............

Hmmm, Dunc has been complaining about the same thing on TDH. Away on business at the moment, but will try to have a look towards the weekend.
