Has anyone tried negotiating a fixed discount from these guys, as I'm sure between us we spend a small fortune with them each year ?

In return, we could give them some advertising space?

It doesn't quite work like that.... Advertising is chargeable for all, and discounts are at the discretion of the supplier.

None of this is set in stone here, but we need cash to be able to do bigger and better things.

Phil, the advertising space was only a suggestion - there are many suppliers who offer discounts (say 10% off) for 'automobile clubs'. The very mention of a discount in a thread will generate more business for them - this site has an average of 200,000 hits a month - that alone should sell it. I was hoping that an admin could take the lead and ask the question.

Not diggin' at ya Nige!! I spoke to Paul a while back regarding advertising, and he was going to get back to me......

Obviously RS246 will ask the supplier to offer discounts to it's users, and even freebies that we can use in competitions, RR days, etc....

It's all good stuff, just need to put a plan together
