If you do not visit a forum which has unread posts, once you log back again in later they show as read - even if you haven't

Does it!! I always had that problem with UBB Threads.... This form appears to be behaving itself pretty well.

when i log on.... i get the coloured icons on the main forum page to indicate which forums have new replies...... ie red

but when i open up into each forum section, the coloured icons do not show which ones are active,..... ie all still blue...

They do, you just need to scroll through the post until you find it

on the individual forum contents page those little icons after the persons names are white for me... not coloured... like your sample above...

but open a post and search down it, yes i can see the coloured boxes.

im missing posts all the time

Just took a look at the 'fix' and it reminded me of my sql days at college some time back.

I think I'm going into regression....

It's a known "issue" in this version. Will have to wait until next release.
