Beware of Scammers

Post by PhilT » Tue May 16, 2017 12:50 pm

Just a heads up that I've banned an account today thanks to a user reporting what looks like a potential scam message.

I checked and found that the same message had been sent to 35 members
Good day sir,
Kindly Let me know if you have any lead or order on your wtb ad, if you're still in the market I can help you out.
Be alert!!

Who would actually start a message with 'Good day sir'? Willy Wonka?? G'day I can understand but then were probably in the wrong part of the world for that.

The approach seems to be:
1. Search for topic/post subjects that start with "Wanted"
2. PM the poster and begin scam....

You were probably better to remain anonymous.
