Site slow down

Post by Shoppinit » Fri Nov 11, 2016 9:32 am

So since a few days ago, the site is being very slow to react sometimes. It's taking me a long time to post messages or even open a topic. Up to 20 seconds after clicking on a topic title.

It doesn't do it all the time. It's like it's caching a bunch of stuff or something. Or maybe timing out trying to load something. Once I've been on the site for a while the speed seems normal.

Can do further tests if useful.

There do seem to be some performance issues. I'll do my best to resolve.

Every day last week I was having a phishing warning come up when trying to log in. But yeah, has been mega slow recently.

The phishing message is something else. Probably related to Google banners. Hard to lock that out.

I've only just logged back in, and it seems back to normal MrT.

OK, so I've done a bunch of tuning. We should be running on gas now. Need to leave it for 24-48 hours to see how it performs.
