Wouldnt it be userfriendly to have the main menu bar locked so when scrolling down, the main menu bar is still visible...?

I like the idea. Should be fairly easy for someone who knows what they are doing (Not me). I guess the challenge might be the use of the screen real estate.

I've got to update the theme, so will keep this in mind.
