Conduct

Post by PhilT » Sat Sep 07, 2013 9:15 pm

Seems like things are getting a little ripe in some areas. I'm getting complaints and that uses my time unproductively. Please stop.

Using special characters to bypass the profanity filter is not cricket. This site is for all and that means you conduct yourselves appropriately.

Thanks.

Good, as I was on the receiving end of the vile attack.

I didn't bother complaining as the atack was from one of the apparent key (in his eyes ) members

Clearly one of the other members that messaged me via here and other sites did choose to say something.

There is banter and there are bullying attacks which was what that was

Other forums that I am a member of would have banned him but I see he is still around.

Bullying?!?! What are you 12yrs old, isn't it past your bedtime?

/EDIT for someone who didn't bother to complain, you're sure making up for it now. Phil has delivered his message and he certainly doesn't need your input on why to ban me, I give him more than enough reasons all by lonesome. He'll be able to make his own mind up, boy.

Looks like this site is going like the other site, can't have a laugh and a joke without someone crying, shame. Some members on here really get their thongs in a twist about really silly things, me included, but I don't run off to the boss crying.

There's very little point in banning people; it's easy to re-register and society is full of people who don't get on but figure out a way to conduct themselves in an acceptable way (applies to all).

The reason this site exists is because we all share a passion. With passion comes opinions. Opinions differ.

Play nicely is all I ask. We are all civilised people, please act that way. If you have issues resolve them yourselves by whatever means appropriate, just not in the public forum.

You are all moderators here so start with this; "Do unto others as you would wish others to do unto you".

‎This isn't about humour or bullying, it's about swearing and opinions.

Dboy sprouted a whole heap of opinion in front of his new evo friend (fair enough, he's gotta pull lads from somewhere) and I merely formed my own opinion to fire back at him. The problem is, my opinion was stronger and I used more colourful words than he does and in doing so, I sidestepped the site's stopwords to impress my point.‎
If Dboy didn't want to received my opinion and doesn't like confrontation then he should probably not direct any judgement toward me, it's a very simple equation. I did not single him out, I have not repeatedly instigated reaction and I have not made any threats to him, open or otherwise. In all honesty, I think Dboy has been reading too many tabloids or maybe "Prepubescent Bullying Weekly". You cannot be the victim of bullying if you're a rational grown man, you have responsibilities, a mortgage, credit cards, a wife and a job FFS.

You have a keyboard, if you don't like what's on screen, then write something, if you can't write anything to impress your point then don't post. Most of all, remember, everything you read on here is opinion, even fact. It's just another person's version of a fact.
If you've made it this far in life and you think I'm bullying you, then you're either very, very privileged, or at least extremely lucky not to have encountered any significant life challenges. If that's the case I worry what will happen when anything remotely serious presents itself to you.

I get called a <beep> everyday, makes me feel all warm inside. As you say jack, don't like what you see either turn off or tell said person to fcuk off.

Edit, I made a Nazi.

I've just had a look back through bam's and boy's interactions, and I'm a bit baffled. Unless I've missed something then it's 535dboy doing all the bam baiting and, to be frank, getting off quite lightly!

I may have been guilty of using some of the Swedish spellings of the naughty words in question. I'll fekkin well make sure it doesn't happen again.

The thread in question was truncated by Phil, not a great use of his time, to which I apologise.
