Forum keeps going down

Anyone know why the forum keeps going down - three or four times this week I've tried to use it....

Yes, it's been going on for a while so I've had to brush up on my Apache and MySQL memory management skills.

Been doing lots of tuning/testing today and we might still be running on the ragedy edge to squeeze as much performance as possible out of the old girl

I've got watchdog scripts running that should fix any outages within 5 minutes.

When it’s working yes it’s faster… just not working very often for me.

Thanks Sevy. Currently running it on the raggedy edge with watchdog scripts to restart things if they fall over!!

Talking to various hosting companies to price up the machine for the next couple of years and building a test system to practice the migration. Hopefully this time it should be quite easy as it should be just moving data across. The last upgrade to 6 months!!!
