I have to agree with Jimbogrey, who's taking the mick? And I also appreciate the hours and effort that goes into this site, its a very useful and informative site, but like Jimbo said no need to be so patronising, I can vouch for Woody, he is a sound guy and is only asking because he genuinely doesn’t know. And yes....why is does it work that better that way?

IMHO the orientation I have used reduces piston slap due to the boost pressure not being against the side of the piston..... Releasing the pressure on the bottom allows the piston to move more smoothly.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it

well thanks for every1,s input..im glad to say that the conclusion i have come to is that there,s no scientific proof that 1 way works better than the other as long as there,s no air leaks.. and reading the thread on orientation its just down to trying whats best for the car u have.. :thumbs:
