H&R coilovers and anti-roll bars - Group purchase

If you remember I contacted you by phone on your mobile on Thursday morning re: the supply to a set of H+R coilovers for a 1998 S4. You advised that you could supply within 7/14 days. I asked you if they are Geniuine H+R made in Germany by H+R supplied via the UK importer ensuring the warrenty would be valid, you stated yes. I also asked you for a price you were unsure at the time of asking, I said I would get back to you.

My concerns are firstly for the members of the Group Buy and secondly is for the good name of the H+R importer Motorsport Tuning who I have traded with for a good number of years. H+R are being implied as the culprit for the slow delivery, which concerns me as an H+R dealer and Motorsport Tuning who have been watching this thread.

If you are obtaining the products from other sources (which you advised during the above telecom, is not the case) then I will gladly appologise, when the group buy members have received their orders.

Good to see you finally got a login. Still waiting patiently, but just wondering what you mean when you say 'some of you will be receiving your kits'? Are some people not?

Hi John,

Could you publish a list of who is getting what and when if it is not all arriving in one lot. Hopefully that will clarify the situation and help to calm any concerned persons. I've sent you a PM about my invoice not recieved.

John, I think we should ensure that we do not allow this to happen again without the blessing of RS246. We won't be held responsible for any issues, but at least we will feel more comfortable with this type of activity.

I have spoken with John. He has told me that the coilovers are in and that they will be sent out over the remainder of
this week and the next. Does anybody else have any other information? Has anybody received their coilovers?

May i suggest in future any group buys should be firstly approved by the CREW and vetted or watched over by an appointed organiser.

I agree with the crew on this for the reasons in the post above.

Might be a good idea to arrange a personal collection, for those buyers based in the south east??
