Nearly all the jokes we have currently in the OT section are defamatory, crude, sarcastic etc - in fact they could all be classed as "adult" in nature. For me they add to the site, and I don't mind if I have to click on a different RS246 forum to view them.

Just to quote another RS site:
"Off Topic: The place for post not related to cars or any of the other forums. Have fun!"

Surely not clicking on Off Topic / Humour wouldn't be that difficult?

OT but I hope your wife gets well soon Jeff.

I think all the 'talk' has been done on this too, both sides of the debate have been heard. It's strange that the other poll is way ahead on number of total votes...

Keep the votes coming, I for one would like to see this resolved by the weekend

Cheers,

Hope not mate. We are trying to give all our users the best chance to change what they don't like. I don't think we can try any harder than this IMHO.

Wow...I missed that first time round. Do you think you could put in a good word Julian ? I'd be your friend forever if you could
Count it done Jeff!

I would like to volunteer as your campaign manager - I'm thinking banners, t-shirts and badges .... a few walk-abouts, you know; meet the people, grip & grin, kiss a few babies, drop in at a local one-legged single-parent ethnic lesbian community centre and pull concerned faces at their plight .... maybe even a TV ad or two ...

Here's an idea for a campaign poster:

I did think about running for EU President, or do you think it's a step too far ?

B*MMER

Personally it will be another great loss to see any humour reduce or go....
I look forward to other peoples stupidity and banter .... it will be a very dry forum with no where for people to express what they need to .....

If we all had no personality and mooched around like our sh*t dont stink .... we could all join jeffs gang .....

If you dont like it - dont read the OT threads ..... stick to wot you like ...

..... life is too dry anyway .... need to moisten things up a bit eh mr tikkala .......?

its one of the definate plus's of visiting the forum is to have a giggle ...
if its 100% about cars fair enuff, but then we wouldnt have insight into characters of members etc ..... having a crack is part of life ... so why try to stop it ..?
...unless yr so analy retented it pains you to see others enjoy at all ....
You can get alot worse humour media trawling through the tv channels .... which is broadcast without having to accept any disclaimers or join to forums ..
think the minority complaining outways the millions of viewers watching ... ? its still broadcast ... so here I think AH should stay .. !
happy dayz .... party ....
