Linux 2.4.20 sounds like the redhat 9 era?

Thanks Mark - That was the one. wget installed, now for the next step.... Enumerate the returned index.html to parse for the DB connection string and then if a match is found, do a restart.

I keep having problems accessing this site. About half the times I try I get either the "problem in database connection" or it just takes an eternity to load the page then eventually says page not found.

If possible can you explain the following?

Is the site run for proffit as I have seen you talk about 'the other sites' associated with this one? And if so do you need ££'s to make it work better?

What can we do as users, assuming that we all enjoy the use and seem not to pay for it, with the exception of the odd sticker or shirt prchase, to help?

Cheers

5968 registered users at present...I'm sure a little subscription fee/donation could go a long way.

Money is not the be all, and end all. We want to keep this site free for it's members, and rely on Site Sponsorship to fill the gaps :)

We have a replacement - Just need the time to build it, customise, and transfer data.
