New server means new software version. Get the database in order so Clive doesn't get the credit for a great post.

Only kidding Clive ;)

Glad to hear some of the banter has been 'cleaned'

In David7m's scenario the thread went OT. The item advertised included a comment about reaching 165 mph, David7m replied with a comment about use of private roads and then it turned into a discussion about nitrous. Thread was split, and as David7m's post was the first to be split off, and then deleted, the creator of the thread remained David7m. Yawn.....

I highly doubt it's the server. If it was, it would mean data corruption - Not good.

right, well that explains that situation, but getting back to my original point (don't worry, we're still on topic  ), the totally "clean" (by which I mean no OT banter or gimps!) MPG thread ( http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNp ... ic&t=58373 ) shows me as the author, whereas JAZZA started it and, as far as I recall, I only made 1 contribution further on.

Even if the thread has been cleaned up (which I dont think it has), then JAZZA remains the first contributor and I certainly didnt create the thread  A one off blip or something more serious?

With all the database crashes we've had lately I'd be asking how sound it is.

Is the forum backed up?
