At least if he could have got into his mates lockup, he could have delivered the coilovers that didn't exist in his broken passat, which probably isn't broken and perhaps maybe possibly doesn't exist.JonnyX wrote:Told me he had a Passat which was 'broken'. This was why he could not deliver the coilovers
(you know, the ones that he didn't have, that didn't exist which were in a mates lockup he
couldn't get in to...)

Has anyone heard from John today, on any of the now 3 numbers that he has? I spoke to him last night to make sure he was going to do a CHAPS transfer today, and asked him to let me know as soon as it was done but so far nothing, and no reply to any texts or calls.

Well, I would love to say I am surprised. I think we have to take itTWH wrote:Has anyone heard from John today, on any of the now 3 numbers that he has? as read that anything he says he is going to do cannot be trusted.
I now think the best course of action is to apply some pressure via
Mr Y Bogosyan.

To get a "ball rolling" you may use a bat, as in baseball. Not the correct action sometimes effective.
I have on a few occations suggested a personal visit to collect the refunds. If you live many miles away, two or three of you share the cost of the trip down.
If the refund is not forthcoming during the visit, each of you serve a "Statutary Demand". This will give him 14 days to pay up. If not you can each get a county court judgement. If the total is over £750 you can apply to the court to wind him up.
You will need to work out if this is worth doing when you visit. He may own nothing? If this is case you will have to ask if it is worth chasing him costing you more cash to get perhaps 10p in the £

OK we are over 2.5K and more to come in I am sure.
A source of mine indicated that the R32 Golf that John has probably still has a significant amount of HP outstanding, unless of course he has used our money to pay it off.
I think it likely that we are not the only one's he owes money to. My guess is he has used our money to pay off older debts.
I seriously think this could be a case of fraud and we should consider putting this in the hands of the police as a group - thoughts please on this matter? At the very least it is theft and the police should deal with it. This will probably involve the investigation of the other former directors of JNS Performance but that can't be helped. Quite frankly I can't believe anything I am told in connection with this mess so we may as well go all out to make this guys life a misery.
At the end of the day if he had the money then surely we would have it by now.
Anyone agree with me? I am happy to deal with the police on this issue.
Andiroo - what are your thoughts please?
Cheers
