300zx UK manual

I thought I’d share on here the story and on going progress of my toy car, it’s a UK “94 Nissan 300zx with a manual box (getting rare in this form).
The z32 300zx was the first car I can remember thinking “I want one of those”, it was a white UK car, and at the age of 21 I managed to get my hands on a gunmetal grey JDM twin turbo.
The car didn’t disappoint, from its super car looks, ballistic speed, cool features and targa top. I managed to hold onto the car for nearly a year before a new job and the associated running costs (13mpg) forced me to sell. Unfortunately I can’t find any photos of this car but this was the correct colour. I again found myself behind the wheel of another 300zx when I was in my early 30s. Unfortunately lost control of her 8 days after buying it. I’d been too long without RWD and dropped it. The insurance company if used were far from impressed. I was truly gutted about losing this car as she was a great example. Then years ago another fair example came onto the market. The owner was moving abroad and couldn’t take his car with him. Unfortunately for him he had it painted back in the early “00 and gone for a 3 coat flip paint and this, along with it not being driven for a number of years, had put everyone off buying it. I decided to make the 500 mile round trip to take a look at her and after seeing the car in person decided that the colour wasn’t too ostentatious and took her home. To be continued...
