The Surprise C6

Post by cammmy » Sun Jul 19, 2020 4:04 pm

Hi All

I got my C6 RS6 in November but only just took some pics good enough to be worth posting. It's a well looked after C6 that's a prior repaired Cat D. I call it the surprise C6 as the previous owner had no idea that it's actually a stage 2 MRC car running 730BHP and 1000nm. I only found out when I was servicing the drivetrain and saw a Miltek exhaust and MRC secondary cat deletes. I contacted and they confirmed they've had the car in before and what it made.

The car just ticked over 90k miles and it makes me grin every time I drive it.

Thanks. It's a technique called light painting that I really like. This was my first go at it.

Fantastic shots. I've done a little experimental light painting before but with less success.

For the Lotus, I was just using a handheld lamp. I think the exposures were about 15 seconds on ISO 100. For the RS I used an LED under bonnet lamp that I didn't have before and the exposures were between 4 and 8 seconds. I also just put 50 hours into the paint and wheels before ceramic coating them. Which is why I took it out to get pics while it was still clean
