New RS4 B7 Avant

It's been some time coming but here's my new RS4. It's a really nice example with 40 something thousand miles, Miltek switchable exhaust and a recent De-coke (graph showing 428 I think).
If I'm honest it's perhaps a tad loud for me and I'd be interested in other exhaust options.
I'm impressed with the performance and the ride is great for an older car. The brakes are a tad squirrely, and again I'd be interested in known solutions to this.

What should I be doing as preventative jobs for the car please? I'm going to keep it standard, beyond the exhaust and re-map but do find it hard not to tinker and lavish a bit of love and money on a new toy.

Welcome along. Looks great. As for the exhaust, might be a good idea to find out if it’s resonated or not, if it’s not then fitting a resonated centre section might be an option. Either that or swap it for a standard system with resonator delete.

Cheers

Welcome. Looks lovely mate.

Check out my thread for some ideas that I’ve done as Ive recently got mine. I’m doing brakes this weekend, the full lot including Caliper colour change.

I’m thinking of getting a H pipe which goes with the standard back box and so deletes the centre resonator. Have a read up on H pipes if you find your current exhaust already has a resonated center section.

I find it almost impossible to heal and toe in the car. Is there a known solution for this on the B7 please?

Like that a lot mate. Is that the one DD Classics were advertising? I had my eye on that one but timing not right for me. I do like an Imola RS4. Went to the Simply Audi day at Beaulieu yesterday and didn't see any Imolas.

Good luck with it and enjoy.

Hi, thanks. Yep, it's the one from D&D classics. Is it known on the forum do you know?
