That came out lovely. I have the same polishing mop. Great bit of kit. Need to do mine, when I get spare time!

Re: JamesBaby’s B7 RS4 Avant Daytona
Recently I saw a write up on changing your power steering fluid so gave it a go and it was easy. It definitely made the steering feel smoother and better.
Got one of these syringes off Amazon cheap. You then insert the tube to the bottom of the filler tank, then suck out the fluid.
You then pour new fresh fluid in. Start the car and turn steering lock to lock to move the fluid around the system.
Then repeat step one. Keep repeating until the removed fluid is the fresh green colour and not brown and dirty looking.
I used 1.5 litres just to make sure but 1 litre may have been enough.

No james, I foolishly sold it 4 years ago, I regret it the minute it left the drive.
Tried growing up taking to a 3.0 Q5.
It’s overrated growing old hence on the look for a mint B7.

Re: JamesBaby’s B7 RS4 Avant Daytona
I know the feeling. Yours was mint I remember. Good times. The RS4 is the closest to it IMO and I’ve tried S3,RS3 and the now the RS4.Look595 wrote:No james, I foolishly sold it 4 years ago, I regret it the minute it left the drive.

Re: JamesBaby’s B7 RS4 Avant Daytona
Little update. The car continues along its refurb program. Car was fine but I built a collection of parts from various deals and offers.
Full Meyle HD kit. Better than OEM grade components. Reinforced joints etc. Control arms and drop links.
Front & Rear Anti roll bar bushes OEM.
Front and rear drop links.
Gearbox mount.
Steering rack bolts to improve steering feel and remove tramlining feel.
4 wheel alignment.

Re: JamesBaby’s B7 RS4 Avant Daytona
Where did you get the kit from?
Is it a recommended upgrade?
Is it better than simply replacing with OEM/Lemforder?

You can get it from various places but I got it from Cartech One.

It comes with a 4 year guarantee and has reinforced components compared to OEM. It should last longer than standard replacements.
