R8 V8 tunning
Hi new to the forum and just looking for advise on tunning the V8 engine. Is there much to gain from exhaust, air filter,re map. I see some owners running 450bhp is it worth doing these mods? Turbos and supercharged are going to give you a fantastic result but very expensive.

To be honest - don’t expect a lot of extra power (short of forced induction)! Also, don’t expect many replies here - as most of the R8 owners will be on the R8 talk forum.
The two main reputable UK based tuners are MRC and Ricky Elder.
A remap might be worth it just for the change in throttle response though - assuming MRC can pull the same trick on the V8 RS4 that they’ve done to countless B7 RS4s. In sport mode - the throttle response of an MRC stage 2 car is electric.
