RS7 Mystic Blue - @ThatRS7

Post by ThatRS7 » Fri Feb 22, 2019 2:28 pm

I thought it would be best to introduce myself, and start a build thread all in one go.

I've recently picked myself up a 16' Mystic Blue RS7 with Cream Valcona leather interior, with a monumental specification and virtually no miles on ! The car has some big boots to fill, as it's predecessor was my stage 2+ TTRS (450 / 700nm) which was recently written off.

Plans are in place to mod imminently, and I am already booked in with the guys up at MRC. There will also be some exterior mods added this weekend, very subtle as I love the look of the car as it is!

I intend on keeping this thread fairly well updated, however I do specifically have an Instagram account for the cars updates;- @ThatRS7

FON.

How'd you write-off the butt-plug?
No matter where you go, there you are.

I'm guessing it involved the back of the lorry it is sitting under in that photo above.

And welcome.

Stunning colour on your RS7. Never seen one that before. Good luck with the mods.
Currently running:
18 plate Lamborghini Huracan Performante (5.2l of V10 naturally aspirated craziness)
67 plate RS6 Performance (fully loaded)
66 plate Range Rover Autobiography (for wafting around)
16 plate Mini Cooper S convertible (lots of fun but rather skittish when thrashed)

Favourite car ever owned:
1971 Citroen DS21 - The Goddess (pure art on wheels)

As per below - I had a lorry reverse out on to a main road, from a side road. Putting himself directly in the path of my TTRS.

Thank you - Apparently, it's an extremely rare colour, and even rarer colour combo!

The car actually has gone in for CAT 5 tracker, and Ghost immobiliser this morning. A must have for any RS owner !

Also, I managed to carry out a little stage 1 cleaning on the 7 this weekend - Claybar, wax and sealed. However, once the weather gets slightly better, I will have a friend who owns a detailing company put the DAS over it, and ceramic coating applied..

I also am booked in for two lots of performance mods this week. PCW Exhaust modding tomorrow. MRC this Saturday.

Updates to come! In the mean time, here's some RS7 porn. Featuring the Mrs Stage 1 Golf R.

Lovely!!!
BMW 540i
2018 GTR
F90 M5
X3MC
RS3 Saloon
RS7 FL best car I've owned. No faith in turbo oil screen (turbos failing) or sticking oil scraper ring causing missfires.
F10 M5 LCI still no rear grip lol
S7 black Edition Too big and heavy
S3 8V FL DSG 310ps, road noise is a joke
RS3 8P Rubbish
C7 RS6 Fantastic car but missed playing
GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though
911 Turbo Remapped. Hated it
F10 M5, awesome but no rear grip
RS6 V10 700BHP crazy
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 600bhp
