A plug in the aRSe = good.
Gravel in the aRSe = not so good.

😂
I’m assuming you’re speaking from experience :sekret:

Hi folks,

I was at an M3Cutters meet at Snetterton yesterday and someone took a few photos.

Nice stance.
Do you get any rubbing round your aRSe end?

Thanks. No not had any so far but I haven’t had 4 up with luggage and I’m not likely to be very often.

Hi folks,

Not posted for a while as not done an awful lot and I was in Orlando on holiday at the end of March which was fantastic. The RS4 was parked at the in-laws while we were away and upon return, they decided it would be a good idea to hose down and dry the windows with kitchen roll :bash: Around all the windows and bonnet are all swirl marked and there are scratches between the window and rings on the tailgate, needless to say I was livid

I need to wash it to inspect it properly but from what I can see, a detail will sort the most of it and the tailgate is being sprayed anyway which leads me on to Audi. They refused to carry out any work to do with the corrosion on the tailgate due to it not being an original window :audibash:

I have got a quote to sort it and a few other defects that I want to sort. I did get a quote for more but it will have to be in two stages so the rusty bits are priority.

Whilst trying to find a switched live for my headunit, I managed to fry my onboard power supply module slightly and my wipers shat themselves. I replaced it and all is good thankfully. I am going to get a canbus interface and stop fannying about with stuff that I don’t really know how it works :sekret:

Cheers

Hi folks,

One of the things that was flagged up on my 20k mike service was one of the rear KW shocks was leaking. I looked into claiming under warranty but the place they were bought from was about 2 hours away so the time and petrol it would take wasn’t worth it. I bought a replacement direct from KW so I’m going to email them and see if I can send the leaking one back and see how far I get.

Hi folks,

Just a wee update, my canbus interface and ground control loop arrived so fitted them. I have finally got illumination control with my lights. In hind sight I should of just bought one in the first place rather than trying to find one myself and frying my onboard power control unit but you live and learn.

A couple of photos, excuse the mess though.

I saw a photo online and thought I would have a look, not a bad place. Didn’t realise you were Ipswich. We went to the Fox Inn near Woodbridge, cracking wee place and good food. If you’ve never been I would recommend it.

It was cleaner than it was when I started but my definition of clean is different to yours.

Thanks, I’m currently trying to get through the list of things that need sorted rather than getting carried away with mods, all in the detail. I’ve got a new expansion tank and rear heated seat switch on their way so that will be the next jobs.

Yea I was a bit surprised about the shock, going to send it off and see what I can get from Kw, not holding my breath though.

Hi folks,

I ordered a rear heated seat scroll switch as that had been broken since I bought the car, an expansion tank which had a split on the front of it and an RS4 steering wheel gel overlay that was mentioned here viewtopic.php?f=35&t=131975.

Everything turned up this week so I thought I would fit it all today.

Hi folks,

Just a wee update about the steering wheel badge. It was too good to be true and after about a day, it had peeled away from the original badge and just looks a bit naff. I think I’ll buy a B5 badge and pop it in but I’ll probably wait until I get my steering wheel retrimmed. Nothing ventured nothing gained I suppose.
