What be gotten out of the BYH without stronger internals?
Up to 850ps, apparently. Not planning on going that high, though.

Sounds amazing. Before the engine takes over, the sound of the turbos is addictive.

Are you happy with the results?

Cheers

Thanks Frazer. Yeah, it is pretty addictive. If I'm honest, I do often feather the throttle just to hear the turbos spooling Image

Hoping to squeeze some more power out of the setup in a few weeks, but that visit was just a health check (and to capture a baseline before future tweaks)...

I'm not surprised, it would have me using a lot more fuel. It sounds vaguely like an old TD5 defender I had with straight pipes, just a lovely whistle.

Makes sense, will be good to see what it makes. Looking forward to seeing it in person at some point.

Cheers

This reminds me of when I followed you in Darth running a straight exhaust.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Yeah, enjoyed that mini-convoy.
Don't remember being able to see much at the time, with all the tears of laughter, but do remember the air being full of turbo spool when Darth was behind me, and booming exhaust when in front. Fun times.
Darth was probably even louder then than the R8 is now, what with the tubi manifolds and the like.

Spare steering wheel I bought is finally back from it's little trip to/from Germany for a custom retrim.

Just need to reassemble it (after adjusting the new badge to fit) and get it on the car.

Should hopefully give me a bit more grip when driving!

Whoops. Glad I bought a batch of the badges, as trimmed a bit too much off the first one.

Fortunately, nailed it on second attempt.

Still to swap it out, but quite pleased with it so far.
