Very nice . Are those rear lights available like that or did you put some sort of film over them ?

They're original lights that have been tinted with a film, which I believe goes inside the light rather than over.

Thanks for the comments.

I installed my white led number plate lights this evening. One of the bulbs had gone anyway so needed doing. They look great but produce an error code (despite the ebay seller listening them as CANBUS compatible!)

Looks great. Send the number plate lights back and get the ones from Trups on here, no errors.

Cheers

Did some bits and bobs today..

Sanded down the chrome molding inside the headlights to spray black.

After painting:

Removed the blue forge intake hose and fitted the replacement red one:

Replaced the battery which was really struggling, think it was still the original one:

Also set to work on the splitter, it was in a pretty sorry state so sanded it down and gave it a few coats of lacquer. It looks much better but still needs some work so will finish that another day. I picked up the bolts ready to fit it when it's done.

Some pics of it before doing anything and with some sanding:

After a couple of coats of lacquer:

And where I left it today, 3 coats of lacquer and some rubbing compound:

Awesome, finally the result you wanted. We’ll have to organise a little leeds RS meet once the weather is better!

Did some more work on the splitter. Wasn't happy with how it was looking yesterday so sanded it and started again. It looks loads better this time, should look great after a polish.

Had some time to finally give it a wash this morning. It's looking really nice if I say so myself...
