Ah really. I guess I shouldn't be surprised by that because only proper enthusiasts fit ceramics to their RS4s.

Thanks for your kind words. Very welcoming forum. Very different from the kids over at Edition 38!

Great thread too, I'm subscribed
Haha. My bottom-ometer suggests more but couldnt put a figure to it..

If Halfords performance air filters are a calibration point I would say I have added at least 1050bhp.

Sorry I was busy when I replied at the time.

That's mad your RS4 is just 2 away! Like it.

Also liking the red on yours too. Looks like a proper red and not the old Mk2 tornado pink.

Haha yeah it is very red ! Deffo strange seeing one only 2 letters away when I was reading I kept think the numberplate looks familiar 🤔🤣

Oil cooler looks a good bit of kit might be in my list 💰

you dont need to remove theplugs to deflap the manifold, you can use that small ratchet you had to get to the rear of the mani ,

also when you said about not wanting to take it off again it wil be caked up in less than a year, not as bad as when you started but bad, mines done every year and look spretty bad and i dont really drive mine

Yeah the oil cooler is pricey but the quality is top notch. Certainly no regrets from my end buying it after receiving and fitting it.

Hey Rick, thanks for that. I actually came across a thread stating the same late last night.

I assume that providing I leave the linkage and position sensors in place it won't throw any codes up etc.

Does it all not depend on fuel quality and how the car is driven?

They have an element to play I. E poor fuel quality combined with sub 3k driving will almost certainly contribute to higher carbon build up.

Unfortunately that's not the whole story, it's more of a design issue with direct injection engines and the PCV valves we have on these engines.

I agree with RS4LAD, this is something that won't go away. It's just owners descretion as to how frequently they feel the need to intervene.
