RS7 FL best car I've owned. No faith in turbo oil screen (turbos failing) or sticking oil scraper ring causing missfires.
F10 M5 LCI still no rear grip lol
S7 black Edition Too big and heavy
S3 8V FL DSG 310ps, road noise is a joke
RS3 8P Rubbish
C7 RS6 Fantastic car but missed playing
GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though
911 Turbo Remapped. Hated it
F10 M5, awesome but no rear grip
RS6 V10 700BHP crazy
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 600bhp

Something like this would be my intension. £79.

Getting the dimensions of the Forge etc item or even the RS6/7 radiator would help hugely but I doubt I will find that info any time soon. Will have to rip off the bumper and do some measuring I guess

Found more interesting information. Not sure I will bother with bigger radiator for the current charge cooler. There is a massive amount of room for a proper Air to Air intercooler. I know Water/Air is more efficient but trying to increase the size of the current cooler or adding a second cooler (M5 has 2 charge coolers) would be very time consuming and expensive.

From what I have read the current set up (with bigger radiator or not) max is 800bhp. Charge cooler is tiny I am surprised it can cope with that amount of flow.

Getting 2 inlet manifold connection fabricated should not be that difficult then the rest is just piping and the biggest cooler I can fit in that space. While typing I have just convinced myself this is the way forward lol

I guess the stumbling blocks will be, routing the pipework through to the intercooler and back, pipe size big enough to cope with the flow but small enough to allow ease of fitting, deciding where to joint up the 2 turbo feeds into 1 before the intercooler and then back into 2 again to each side of the engine OR use 2 smaller intercoolers one for each side of the engine / turbo.

Pics are inlet manifold connection and front end off a C7 S6

Anyone know the part number for the inlet manifold pipework??

I did mull it over and thought I would end up in the same place as when I bought the RS6. I only kept the RS6 around 8 months as the options for tuning were limited, basically chuck on big turbos and a pipe and that was job done. With the S7 the options are huge and trying to overcome all the hurdles on they way makes it fun for me and keeps my interest. Pus £92k basic for an RS7 is mental money. I guess I could have bought a second-hand RS7 and I may well do that but want to see where I get to with the S7 first.

Ah well, no further forward with my downpipes. The guy is more or less impossible to get hold of. Pity as he sounded good but maybe on reflection my requests are not so simple. Need to find someone else I guess.
