Regarding the coilovers: Nice pervy attention to details that most people won't even notice!

Regarding the rear rings: I had mine removed by the dealer before I even picked the car up. I think it makes the rear look a bit cleaner along with the rear wiper removal.

I am a bit anal like that. If I know it's there and I don't like it, it will bug me. He's even making me the bumpstops in black instead of that nasty orangey yellow.

I agree I do like the clean back end. I haven't removed my rear wiper. Did you remove the whole motor?

Yep, arm off then removed the motor from the inside of the tailgate and blocked the washer hose. Then blocked the hole with a bung from killallwipers.

It does look smart. How did you block the water hose? That would worry me.

A.small screw/ nail in the end with a cable tie and then a bit of tape or self amalgamating tape is more than enough to block the hose.

And my car is washed nearly every week and it gets regular coatings of G technic glass protector / water repellent to help keep it clear. Failing that I have a rag and bottle of waterless wash in the boot just in case. Plus cameras and parking sensors.

So the Milltek is on. After a very long wait the full non resonated cat back milltek system arrived this morning. I couldn't wait for the weekend though fit so I managed to convince my Audi technician friend that fitting it tonight was a good idea. Thankfully he agreed!

I could not believe the weight difference from the standard performance exhaust to the Milltek. The bore of the pipe is noticeably bigger and the noise is addictive!

Sorry can't seem to upload pictures at the moment!

So this is the 6 on pretty much the highest setting on the Gepfeffert KW Coilovers. Will let it settle for a week and see where it's at. I think it will sit better with 265/30 tires instead of the 285/30.

Nice work on the respray and looking good. I know it will be going lower! Do you know what size tyres Jason runs on his car? I imagine his is about as low as you can go static and that is where you will end up so maybe worth asking him what size he runs?

Jason is running 265/30s so I need the get some ordered. My tires have touched my inner arch in the front and taken some paint off. I had the same issue with the H&R 40mm springs.

Know anyone that wants some 285/30 Dunlops that's have done 1000 miles?

Mine also rubs with 40mm springs at the front. Never really noticed until I took the wheels off to fit the spacers. I also removed the little plastic arch clip at the top of the arch as that was sticking out further. I think Luke runs narrow tyres too for a bit more clearance.

I can feel my wheels slipping when on full lock in the cold so I know the yare not as meaty as they used to be (racked up about 12000 miles now) so I am probably not far off some new tyres (and have Dunlops from factory which seemed to be the least commonly ones used) but when they get replaced it'll be for some Michelins. Are you changing all 4 tyres or just the front? If only the front then keep then as spares for the rear. Failing that, stick an advert on here.
