Lol. It's definitely not a quality part and can't imagine it giving much of a performance gain. It's essentially to allow straight through pipes at the press of a button. Like I said it would be a temporary thing anyway. Just a bit of fun and understand it's definitely not for everyone.

I'm concerned about also setting the under body on fire too which is enough of a reason to not fit them.

So Ive just been on the phone with MRC and bad news. The pins that were supplied are 9mm short to hold the front pads in so I've had to get the old ones couriered down at a cost of 1600% the estimated cost of the parts. Then the handbrake cables are wrong, the B7 has a ball where the Lambo's/R8's have a hook so I won't have a handbrake for a while.... I'll be switching over the front brakes tonight in the dark as MRC don't have a ramp available to do the work....... God damn it, it's going to be a fun night...

Only joking mate, that sucks. I would offer to help but I am about as useful as a chocolate teapot when it comes to mechanics. Good luck

No pain, no gain!

It'll all be worth it in the end though. And you will have a great story to tell when you get there!

It sounds like a ridiculous thing to do, but you might be ok. You'll just have to leave it in gear i guess? (I have no idea if this will do any damage as I've always had a handbrake, i just know some people used to do this in the old bangers we had as teens)
Thanks Si, I know your'e not the greatest mechanic but appreciate it none the less. :thumb:
I can't anyway mate, sorry, am out on the lash, starting with a long lunch :drink: :biggrin2:

Leave it in gear, wedge a pole between the seat and brake pedal, and take some wheel chocks?
