Do the jhm manifold spacers really make any difference at all to power?

mines running 446.2

with:
full decat milltek
stage 2 manifold
cold air feed
mrc high flow filters

I would really love to take it up to 460 or more if possible without having to charge it.

P.S Jony how have we both got the same yellow lambo callpiers lol?

They're pretty good numbers mate so think you'd struggle to get much more out of it.

I don't think the spacers add any power. My understanding is that they prevent heat getting into the inlet manifold therefore keeping intake temps down.

Close mate but if you look a bit closer you'll see they're actually ceramics. :thumb:

Thanks mate. I have seen that thread. You need to be lucky with the brakes. They do come up and know of 4 people that have traded them through here myself included. Just need to be in the right place at the right time or just buy another car for the brakes which has also been done a couple of times too.

Mate I’m very close to buying a donor car but the problem is besides the brakes the car is a poverty spec! No buckets or fbsw, however it has low mileage! It will be hard to shift later. But still may work out cheaper than buying a set.
Problem is it’s all the way in Northern Ireland!!!! Absolute ball ache getting a set of ramics!

It’s the only thing I’m missing Iv held off charging it because Iv spent too much money on it already and financially it don’t make sense anymore.

:(

Problem is I never learn my lesson mate, Iv got a big history of losing money on modded cars. Most recent being an r35 gtr which I took to stage 4.5. I don’t even want to talk about the loss made it drives me mad! :bash:

I find it crazy how some people can de value cars because they’ve been ‘modded’ or ‘remapped’
Maybe they’d appreciate it more if they knew the cost, time and effort that went into them and how much we actually love and value the cars. But as soon as they hear modified they have alarm bells ringing thinking ‘abused’ ‘molested’ ‘raggged’ etc etc

It will hit them once they want to do it themselves and they think <beep> I should have bought the one which was already done for just that bit more.

You shouldn’t feel guilty mate if it puts a smile on your face, mine certainly does and Iv been through a hell of a lot of cars and we have supercars in the family and nothing puts a smile on my face like the b7 does!
