Alex's B7 RS4 Avant
Re: Alex's B7 RS4 Avant
It's an Alpine INE-W928R. Alpine does a fitting kit for the B7 so it's plug and play and comes with a fascia surround.
Re: Alex's B7 RS4 Avant
Okaaaay. So a couple of things have happened recently.
1) Rear Wiper delete
2) KW height adjustable springs. I think the back is adjusted too high, so need to drop it a little.
I have had these in for a while actually, but the weather has been awful and the car has been filthy, so no pics. Today I washed, clay barred and polished, so shiny!
Before clay bar & polish:
After clay bar & polish:
5 hours work, but totally worth it.

Re: Alex's B7 RS4 Avant
Looks great mate and a few bits I need to do.
First job is to remove the bumper and sort my grill.
I also have a rear wiper bung but I cant decide if I should remove it as we get a lot more rain than you lol.

Do it! Bit of rain repellant and regular cleaning is all you need for a smooth ass.Jules wrote:Looks great mate and a few bits I need to do.

Looking good Alex. Yes I think the back could come down a little more.

Re: Alex's B7 RS4 Avant
Looks good Alex! I think I might have to delete the wiper too.
Where did you guys get the rear wiper bungs? How did you cap off the washer pipe? I assume the motor has to come out?

Re: Alex's B7 RS4 Avant
Faisal, I got mine from kill all wipers too, as did Alex and Starry too I think. Great customer service!Jules wrote:Yes mate wiper motor out and the bungs need to be the glass ones which look best. Ans yes the motor needs to come out. I just capped the pipe with a bit of self amalgamating tape in the first instance as I wanted to disconnect the wire from the pimp but on the C7 it is a shared plug with the front washers. Next time im in there I think I will remove the hose from the pump, that way I end up with a puddle on the road or floor rather than in my boot if activated by a garage or by accident etc.
Re: Alex's B7 RS4 Avant
Mike always be careful messing with a pimps wire, just sayingMikeFish wrote:Faisal, I got mine from kill all wipers too, as did Alex and Starry too I think. Re: Alex's B7 RS4 Avant
Lol, no escaping those damned wired pimps!
Re: Alex's B7 RS4 Avant
Yep Kill All Wipers here too. Was a great little package for a good price. I put an m4 screw up the end of my hose pipe which sealed it off fine for now, activating the pump doesn't leak any water.
Re: Alex's B7 RS4 Avant
New shoes! Interestingly, the rear height looks fine with these, even though it hasn't changed.
Re: Alex's B7 RS4 Avant
Looks mean Alex.
