Have Milltek upped the exhaust diameter causing these issues then?
Yes they have and it sits different to avoid all of the dents in the standard one.

Yea. The standard downpipes go to about 1" in places!

I did for a week or so when the auto wipers were set to their most sensitive. That's normal apparently but dies down

Well guys and girls the resonated milltek centre section went on today. Overall I'm really pleased.

In summary it knocks out a lot of the deep sound. It's by no means quiet or 'tinny' you still cant drive in D with the valves open like the OEM sports exhaust.

It has made the switch at 2800rpm in 6th and 7th sooooo much better. That was ridiculous on the unresonated: quiet below 70 and then when you crept above it, suddenly crazy loud.

There is no denying it though the bridge and tunnel window down moments are nowhere near as good.Image

I've had some success with the projector 'audi beam' puddle lights tonight. I tried some a while ago but the brightness and focus was naff, they got hot and they rattled. So this time around i changed the LED's, mounted the drivers differently, blacked them out to stop light escaping out the side, fitted better heatsinks with the proper chip paste, changed the focus so they are bigger but still crisp and fixed the rattles!ImageImageImage
