Soooo much better!

Main suspects were electrical connections, whole memory seat module moved around, the interior door handle LED, the join with the B&O tweeter, the contact point between the cheapy plastic around the grab handle and the door card.

Time to make some noise in a couple of weeks:

I'll do before and after dyno runs and record it for those thinking about a change.

Is that Res or non Res?
Be interesting so see the results. Are there any claimed figures?

Is a non Res much louder?
The car I am picking up in 3 weeks has a Res system and that sounded good to me without being much different to standard.
I just wonder if it would get on on your nerves after a while if it drones.

We'll soon find out. Everyone said the res is pretty much the same as the sports exhaust so i thought I'd give this a go. With the valves you should be good as long as you don't drive around at 40-50 in 7th

I've been up to a bit of wrapping of the badges. I gave up looking for genuine carbon ones and these come out way better than expected!

Yes no tuning just the exhaust.

Sounds bloody savage. Valves shut is like valves open on the sports exhaust but a bit more raspy with no more volume.

Valves open is really deep at low rpm and get raspy and loud as you rev it

Wow that's a big difference on a NA car for just a cat back exhaust! Or was it a decat? I assume if it was decat you'd have had a map done too.
And it is not a correction error, there is 20bhp difference at the wheels.

Tell me about it. It suprised us all. They are a specialist known to me with a good reputation locally and i made it absolutely clear i wanted no faffing about with the numbers. They did not supply the exhaust so had nothing to prove or achieve. I wanted a clean before and after because i was worried about it messing up the back pressure and low down torque. It a decent dastek dyno.

It's cat-back. The single cat on the end of the headers remains and was untouched.

The OEM pipe is quite shockingly designed when you get up close. It has dozens of kinks and dents in it.

I have just been out for an hour in it and it is 100% noticeably quicker and fcuking christ is it loud!
