Someone just asked for a video of my exhaust and I realised I don't have one in my build thread so thought I'd better add one.

Only a short clip but it should give you an idea of the sound:

I'm really impressed with the Ferodo DS2500 front pads once they warm up. I had noticed that sometimes the brakes work much better than others but never gave it much thought. After thinking about it, they really impress me after I have done a few roundabouts when pressing on.

Another update while I am here; I was at the tip 2 weeks ago and some old couple decided to squeeze past my car with their 1 ton builders bag and left a load of light scratches on my rear quarter (the only part of my car not covered with PPF). I was so fuming I ended up kerbing one of my wheels. Not a happy bunny. Anyhow, the wheel is now repaired and they got treated to a new colour. I'll stick some photos up soon, I haven't got any with the new colour yet as I've only just put them on... And found a huge screw in one of the tyres!!!! FFS.

Looks stunning Mike 8)
Although it still needs a black RS 7 emblem at the front, just to finish off the black theme IMHO
Thanks Rob. An RS6 badge might be more appropriate than an RS7 one though. I have a spare badge and truied to make it black with some plastidip but didn't work out. And you can't buy black badges, you have to buy the letter and number and stick them to the badge and I was a little dubious about getting the spacing right. Unless you know where I can get one from?
Sorry Mike typo error - it should have been RS 6
I had trouble finding black RS7 front emblems, but I cam across the following company on ebay that also does front RS6 emblems in black

Hi,

I purchased from these guys, ended up buying the front and rear Black Audi Rings and the Black Front and Rear RS6 Badges...look great on and are of good quality

will post up some pics for reference

Hi mike
Would you mind telling me what size spacers you have and what drop do you think you now have? It looks totally perfect in my opinion🙂

Thank you.
In the last set of photos I am running 15mm rear and 12 front. But this is only really of any relevance if you have wheels of the same width and offset.
The suspension is the KW adjustable springs on their lowest setting.
