Wheel/colour combo no. 9

Ispiri ISR8 20x9 and 20x10, now in L8AU Audi titanium with a satin finish.

Wheels were done by Wheel Works, a few units down from Camspec.

It was at Camspec for MOT (sailed through - no advisories), service, and a few jobs. They went over it with a fine tooth comb and I had them basically fix anything that was showing signs of needing replacement soon! There were a few things I knew about, but they found some other things.

- Passenger side Aux rad was beginning to leak - replaced with a spare I’d bought a while ago
- Front Parking sensor needed replacing
- I supplied a full front arm kit as I thought the bushes would be knackered- but tops were fine, so just lower replaced
- They noticed a stone stuck in the main radiator. They thought it’d be repairable, but Just had them replace the radiator
- Apparently my “glovebox damper” was knackered - replaced. It does open and close smoother now haha
- Rear wiper replaced, and washer jet pressure was low - replaced
- Driveshaft gaiter was perished - replaced
- Front ARB droplinks were perishing - replaced
- Headlamp washer pump was dead (surprised I hadn’t noticed that one!) Replaced
- While they had the bumper off they suggested a pre-emptive replacement of the oil cooler lines before they get corroded onto the cooler itself. So they cut off the old lines (rather than trying to unscrew) and successfully replaced without damaging the thread on the cooler
- Got a guy in to take out a minor dent
- Had SL restorations coat the wheels in Gtechniq for me

Very comprehensive I like it. Just what an RS4 B7 needs, it's great to see the correct approach being taken and things fixed that need it and preventative stuff done as well. Too many people try to run these cars on a shoe strings. Had mine oil serviced at Audi a few weeks ago, it will go to MRC next time for a similar shakedown. All looks fine but as above it's worth doing.
Your RS is looking better than new, well done mate
RS4 B7, Mugello Blue, K&W V3 & HR ARBs, set up by Centre Gravity, Milltek Valved Non Res & cat bypass pipes, BMC air filter, braided hoses, DOT 5.1, Terraclean, MRC Full Carbon Clean, MRC remap 448PS 477NM, 20" S7 alloys with 4mm spacers & Hawke spigots 66.6 > 57.1, AP Racing front discs. Sold Sept 2019. Now rocking an F80 M3

^ completely agree Cov. Just practically replaced all suspension components front and rear on mine and much more. No point in aligning it there is any sign of play or wear, however small.

Faisal, the car looks awesome and really love those wheels especially now you’ve painted them in the ‘right’ colour.

As above, nice to see it being looked after! Especially as it is such a nice example. Just what the doctor ordered.

Hi,

Do you have any more photos of your car with your roofbox on. Got my eye set on a dynamic box but can't decide on the 800 or the 900.

Many thanks for your help, plus I like looking at your car!

Cheers,

Simon
