That was 8:30-8:45pm Ish near the Gherkin- trying to find parking before dinner!

It was actually fine; one of the policeman (the one on his tablet writing me up in the pic) was a petrolhead.

Once he'd confirmed I was insured, car was registered to me etc, and I convinced them that an ANPR still seems to be able to read it, the conversation quickly turned to chatting about cars. He was pretty interested in the RS, and more so the track car when I mentioned it. Said his dream is a new RS6. Recommended I go up to Thruxton circuit.

It has to be noted, these guys were not traffic cops, and didn't poke around the car looking for things to write me up for.

I've agreed to swap back to a normal front plate!

Ah well.

Only change I'd make - loose the chav tinted front plate! It only makes you a target to be pulled, which then gives a copper who didn't get his leg over the night before a chance to be anal and look over the rest of the car

Looks awesome mate, one very cool RS4.

I still think the staggered works on these and again running a 9 front and 10 rear gives better front
steering also I believe as 10s can tramline a little sometimes.
I think I ran 25mm front spacer on my 10s to clear the caliper

Time to give the RS some love.

First off, I upgraded the sub from a JL W0 to a TW1; better suited to a small enclosure. Sounds tighter and more powerful . The old sub has gone into the wifey-mobile.

Second, finally got round to getting the headlight lenses changed. Took the car up to Trups early on Friday and left it with him for the day so he could change the lenses. Whilst he was at it, asked him to fit the new DRLs as I've had an annoying error for ages (due to a fried non- Trups LED bulb), and renew the demon eye kit for the newer (brighter) version. These DRLs are so bright! No errors now.

Tomorrow, car goes in for a front end respray. I've not been happy with the bumper respray I had done when I first bought the car, and there's a load of stone chips now, and a small area of corrosion on the bonnet.

After the paint has had a couple of weeks to cure, it'll be off to get xpel self healing film over the front end.

Finally, I've been thinking about these...

Just 7??? Well you gotta reach at least 9 by end of year so yeah do go ahead but if I were to give an opinion, latest wheels you have are absolutely spot on mate!!!! Never had a soft spot for BBS either
