Hmmm there is a possibility I could make you one. :)
That's what I like to hear Image seriously, let me know if possible and how much it would be, I'm sure there are a few others that would want one who have either the guppe m or revolution induct

Aux cable installed, coded and software updated.
Love internet radio :)ImageImageImage
Just a note: in order for aux to appear in your sources, software must be updated to SW0650.
Any 2008 nav DVD will have it. Got mine of eBay.

My RS4 aka VINNIE thread

Post by pule333 » Mon Sep 19, 2016 12:19 am

Few recent updates.
New disks and ferodo DS2500 pads fitted + goodridge hoses. Image

While at it noticed inner passenger side driveshaft boot has split. Had to replace that as well. Luckily local dealer had parts in stock. Fairly easy job. ImageImageImage

Also finally fitted new coolant tank :) amazing the difference when you put them together. Image

Bigger 102mm cold air feed installed.
Tests have shown that at ambient temp of 16.5 on a motorway, lowest intake temp recorded was 18. Image
Also removed secondary air pump and pipes. No cel or fault codes.

Also had my first outing on my new 18" track day wheels with nankhang NS-2R rubber. Medium 120 track compound. Simply wow!)) you say PSS has good grip??? HA!!!!! You are wrong!! I have PSS on my 19" and you can't even compare them on the track! ImageImage

And here is a little onboard video. :) still trying to figure out correct tyre pressures. I have A felling a tad to high on this occasion. Trying to keep them around 39 at front and 34 at rear when hot.. maybe go down to 37 at front next time.

True indeed, but I wonder how the comparable Michelin Cup 2 holds up against similar road legal semi slicks. I like the Federal RSR's as a cheaper track tyre.

Yeah but they are silly money!!! Very good tyre!!!! Been out in 458 speciale A with nearly 600bhp on MC2 and it felt extremely grippy and planted. Would be interesting to compare a B7 on them..

So two days ago I hear golf balls rolling in my boot. I am like WTF?! I don't even like golf ;) turns out, driver side DRC line decided it was time to go and with out any further considerations to me or my wallet developed a massive leak... oh Joy!!! I knew this moment would come eventually and was prepared for it! So today I had a delivery from Demon Tweeks ;)
New shiny Bilsteins PSS B14.
10 hours, 2 pizzas and 4 beers later... DRC is out including all lines and actuators, replaced by Bilsteins.
It's a bit late to go for a test drive but pretty happy with the ride hight at the moment, will give it a week to settle than readjust. What a ball ache that was to adjust the rear springs!! Everything else went as smooth as, since I have done this before there were no nasty surprises, although driver side pinch bolt at the front decided to not play ball for about 30 min.. but could not stand up to my determination, swearing and good bit of heat ;)

Well done doing the swap by yourself. That's a small gap to drive your RS through to your garage.

Actually, on paper it is not supposed to fit through:)
The gap is 1/2inch smaller than widest two points on the car the wing mirrors.
I had to reposition my gutter pipe so the car can be wiggled in one mirror at a time ;)
Will take picture next time I do this;) it's quite crazy to look at actually.. ha ha but You do what you gotta do right?

If I had one laying around I would fit it tommorow ;) but can not justify the price tag!!!! For that much I can build track prepped Clio!!! I think RS is good enough with 400+
