I'm really sorry Dude! Only been mia now for what 4 months! :)

The ring was great but unfortunately the front right disk was warped. So quarter or a lap in and the thing was bouncing all over the place. Couldn't work it out so hired a suzuki swift. Awesome car! It was hammering it down but that little car didn't care less and was just so much fun!

I'll do a video mate, I still love the exhaust! Will have it on for the weekend!

Top work thanks mate. Those swifts are good fun. My little bro used to have one.

I honestly couldn't believe how much I enjoyed it. It was the most forgiving car I've ever driven. It was pouring down and yet still it happily tear arsed around. At one point we got taken by an r8. He struggled a little to go passed and I was moving over for him! He was buried into the wall on the final corner when we got there.

Was fantastic! But was bloody expensive!

Oh and i plugged the exhaust vacuum lines back in because all the info on the web is wrong and they stay open 100% of the time in dynamic.

I'm 6 months in on the gtechniq now. Not a single swirl from all of the washes and it is still stopping dirt sticking. Nothing other than autoglym car shampoo and ph neutral snow foam has been used on the paint since the gtechniq:

I topped up the exo on the lights and buffing it off waterproofed my microfibre

Looks like a Miltek non Res, are you making an Xpipe instead of H?

It is. I'll replace the H pipe piece of the centre section with a custom X pipe

Cool, I'm trying to remember what the difference between them is.

Am I correct in thinking X-pipe delivers a smoother and less raspier tone?

The objective of both designs is to create a scavenging effect across the banks to help create a vacuum and escape the cylinders more efficiently. As it is a cross plane cranked v8 the firing order makes it really hard to do this on a single bank.

A H pipe is the traditional and easy way of doing it but it has to be very short and soon loses the ability to do the job when RPMs rise as the gases need to make 2 x 90 degree turns so tend to just continue down straight. It give a deeper more muscle car tone. Think american V8

An X pipe is much more efficient at creating this vacuum across the banks at high RPMs. On the noise front it tends to create a more 'exotic' raspy tone at high rpms.

It may also knockout a bit of the drone i hope.

Yes, it'll be interesting to see the results. At least you have valves to keep it quiet when you want.
