Hi Mate. In my iPhone I can tell Siri to "Create a route to X location, using Google Maps" and it will open Google Maps with that location. So it should work with your Car Play unit.

Of course it passed with no advisories. Only snag is that the DVLA has messed up my MOT history when I changed to a personal plate, so instead of maintaining my original expiry date (15/12) it has now been set at 16/11. Had already put an inquiry in with them, but they haven't sorted it out yet.
