Get a refund mate, tell them that you have been misled into buying the kit off them, you should not have really paid upfront....... hope all is sorted soon....... and these are the same guys who want a lovely RS4 to fit a new brake system to........ i dont think your issue makes it any easier for them! hope all is sorted soon. Having read your post orginal post through again...

There are anti-rattle springs/clips which use the 2 bolts which go above the pads....obviously these weren't included in the kit for some reason.

The reason why you have had problems with the hole size maybe (and I mean maybe) because the car they used to measure up the kit is mine which is a Nov 99 car. Apparently there where 3 different front brake set-ups for the S4 Pre-Oct/Nov 99, Oct/Nov 99 & post Oct/Nov 99 so your standard set-up may well be different with different bolt sizes.....

A lot of people seem to just go for the GMBH upgrade which is diff pads and disks but its bloody expensive at £800 odd IIRC. Other than that its the mosnter Movit/Brembo route which is fookin expensive. Anyone know of any other routes, I'd be interested too, methink sI will need it after Sportec chip goes in
