Does RS models have reinforced chassis/body?

I am a bit curious on the "myth" that always been around, saying that the RS models have a reinforced body with additional welding points to the bodywork to make it stiffer.
Is this true? Does anyone have facts on this matter??
Or is the bodyshell of a RS6 the same as the S6 or A6 4,2?

RS models are made in a different factory at quattro gmbh and although look similar to other models in the range, most panels are different in shape and often in material too so it would be safe to say they are made differently and presumably stiffer !!
