10mm hubcentric spacers
10mm hubcentric spacers
would anyone be interested in some cheap 10mm hubcentric wheel spacers? i've asked a local cnc engineering company to make some for me as i'm skint and cant afford £100+ for some this week and hate waiting. The cheapest way for them to make them is to cnc machine them but due to programming the machine it would be more economical to make 3 sets or do them manually and if there is any interest they can use my design spec and produce as many as i want for people.i'm looking to get the price down to around £30 for a set of 4 which is a considerable saving so let me know if your interested.
RE: 10mm hubcentric spacers
If only you'd asked about 2 weeks ago!
I've just sourced 2x sets of 10mm spacers + longer bolts c/w locking bolts!!

i know mate i've had that very same response from quite a few people at the weekend, i sold a set of 5mm ones in less than an hour on a forum very cheap as they were no use to me but had tons of interest in them and the bolts i was selling which are like hens teeth it seems so i thought a few sets of 10mm spacers would sell just as quick due to all the brake/wheels upgrades done on here, i have some 35mm bolts coming tomorrow from pw motorsport but cant afford the spacers yet so trying this instead.

RE: 10mm hubcentric spacers
i'll be able to confirm a price tomorrow and go from there.the more i can order the cheaper they will be
RE: 10mm hubcentric spacers
This is spooky - I am in the process of getting some new wheels, but when they were tried on the car, there was no clearance. 5mm spacers were tried, but to no avail. They recon 10mm ones will work. My question really would be, will the wheels stick out too much with 10mm ones?
Wheels are 8.0x19 ET45. Would be interested if anyone has this size wheel with this offset with 10mm spacers and what it would look like.
Would a 8.0x19 ET35 stick out the same as an 8.0x19 ET45 with 10mm spacers?

no they wouldnt stick out too far i'm doing the same thing tried 5mm but dont like the non hubcentric spacers so i need 10mm they are the smallest hubcentric spacer. measure the distance between the top of your tyre and the inside of your wheel arch you could probably get away with 15mm but would stick to 10mm
RE: 10mm hubcentric spacers
How much are the bolts going to be?

i got some delivered today for £1.50 each 35mm
RE: 10mm hubcentric spacers
if i could order 16 sets of spacers they would cost me £23+vat for a set of 4 compared to £100+ but i doubt i could shift 16 sets this week lol unless a trader on here would take them off my hands? so anymore interest would help as the price for 4 pair would cost £56+vat per set
RE: 10mm hubcentric spacers
Silly question, but will they be making one type that fits all cars? I have a 2001 S3, are they the same spec as what you want them for?

Do you think it would safe with four longer ones, and keep the original length locking one?s4marsh wrote:i got some delivered today for £1.50 each 35mm

i dont think the locking bolt would have any threads onto the hub with a 10mm spacer.the recomended fitting for a m14 bolt is 7-8 full turns into the hub and you'd probably get one or two turns which would be unsafe on more than one bolt but ok temporarily just on the locking one but your likely to forget and drive fast one day so would not reccomend it, i'm gonna be running no lock nuts for a while till finances improve.
I can get them made to suit both 5x112 and 5x100 pcd yes and would be the best option probably for a wider market if i could order 40 sets i can get them made for £16.75+vat a set of four which is an awesome price.
