seems i'm ahead of the game with this peice of kit, more of a turbo management system than just a boost controller and looking at some videos of other higher spec tuned s4's accelerating on you tube mine is just as quick if not quicker,,2nd>4th gear 20-120mph in 15 seconds changing gear at 6k does anyone know how this compares for just a remap?

You should log some FATS times to compare your car against others.

Would be interesting to see how you've done... and how reliable it is.

Be careful, you may be able to hold higher boost at the redline with a manual boost controller, but at what expense? K03's don't like being pushed hard at high rpms. Do you even know what boost you're running?

hi nige, yeah this unit is a boost gauge aswell as a controller, i run a max of 15psi at the moment which tapers off as usual to around 12.5psi and my wastegate is set to 10.5 psi via my boost controller which increases the torque quite a bit, my overboost is set at 17.5 psi so the turbo wont kill itself.have a look at the controllers on the turbo smart website its a serious peice of kit which no one on here seems to have heard of and even doug from mrc couldnt understand that i can controll my wastegate and loads of other settings including boost correction, sequential mapping the jewson lot its nothing like them revo switches and is used by proper race/rally cars

i've just been out and timed my car doing the fats run 4.2k-6.5k in 3rd@ 15.4psi peak boost and wastegate set to 10.5 psi right... i've not used vag com because i'm still waiting for my mate to come round with it but will post as soon as i have. ive just done 10 runs to be as scientific as possible going both ways on the same road and not once did it take over 4 seconds dead using my tissot cronograph watch which are good enough to time the moto gp so good enough for me,that was creeping upto 4000rpm then flooring it now i think thats pretty good for a custom remap only
