"Although this product has had lots of good write up’s, both via their website and in the OC, I was a little sceptical until I had tried it myself. The principle of the lock is that it fits to your existing seat belt clip and locks off the lap strap to keep you firmly in your seat. Now those of you that know me know that I ain’t on the small side and once the weight is moving it’s gonna be difficult to stop. CGLock fitted though I was held in place with no movement whatsoever (Colin is here to tell the tale and did not have to be peeled off the door once!!) Where this little beauty came into it’s own was on the handling circuit and alpine route where being routed to the car allow me to really enjoy the cornering, feel what the car was doing and use the steering wheel for what it was designed for - not to hang onto to help stop you from sliding in the seat. It’s only when a piece of kit like this restrains you correctly that you appreciate how much you were moving throughout cornering and heavy braking.
