S3 Front Brake Upgrade

Post by simonj » Thu Jan 22, 2009 7:23 pm

Hi I am new to the forum,so forgive me if this question has been asked before, I am driving a 52 plate S3- LOVING IT, with 18" Audi RS4 alloys- and wondered whether there was an easy brake upgrade- ie whether RS4 front brake discs, pads calipers would fit without too much modification.
Or any other upgrade any member has done
thanks
Simon

Welcome

Have a search through the forum, but I think the red Porsche calipers are a popular upgrade.

As Dave mentioned, the Porsche 996 TT calipers mated to 993TT discs. You'll need to replace the Porsche Bells with ones to suit 5x100 PCD and caliper carriers.
This is quite a popular up-grade and makes a world of difference to the poor brakes you currently have.
Mov'it and Ray West tuning supply them in kit form.
Just can't get the smile off my face......
